To tap into God’s wisdom, we must, first of all, desire it and ask God for it.

Adam and Eve had free reign of the Garden and everything they would ever need was provided.

When “knowledge” is the knowledge of evil, then ignorance truly is bliss.

What a great privilege is ours to be a part of this great drama and to have a part in bringing praise and glory to our all-wise God!

32 For God has shut up all in disobedience that He might show mercy to all (Romans 11:30-32). By disobeying God, Adam and Eve evidenced their distrust in God and His infinite wisdom.

Satan deceived Eve into believing disobedience was the path to wisdom when the opposite was, and still is, true. The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. But the only “truth” we know to be truth is the “truth” which is in Christ, the truth revealed in God’s Word (John 17:17).

God is righteous, and one does not become like Him by sinning.
